Radiators

RadiatorThe photos show a radiator for a heavy goods vehicle. A copper-brass connection has to be brazed. A flux-free brazing alloy in a nitrogen atmosphere is recommended.

We recommend BrazeTec CST 600 as the brazing alloy. This has a melting range between 600 and 610°C.

The optimum brazing temperature is 630°C. Brazing should be carried out in a continuous furnace in a nitrogen atmosphere.

When using a continuous furnace with an inert gas atmosphere or the vacuum furnace, no flux is required.Radiator detailed

BrazeTec CST 600 has been specially developed for copper to brass brazing on radiators (CuproBraze - process).
