Our silver-tin oxide wires, profiles and contact pins are produced by mixing silver and tin oxide powder – both with (SPW / PMT) and without (SP) additives – compacting, sintering, extruding and drawing or rolling to the desired dimensions. Profiles and tips are provided with a silver backing layer and can optionally be supplied with an additional brazing layer. The typical gradations of metal oxides are 8, 10, 12 and 14. Additives improve the switching behaviour of the various materials.
