FINE SILVER AND SILVER ALLOY
Overview of our silver materials
- Ag: Fine silver with a silver content of > 99.9%, maximum electrical and thermal conductivity and very good oxidation resistance
- AgNi0,15 (fine grained silver) with higher wear resistance than silver (Ag) and very good ductility and soldering/welding properties
- AgCu (hard silver, similar to Ag) has a higher contact resistance than AgNi0.15, which increases with the copper content
- AgCuNi (ARGODUR 27)
- AgMgNi (ARGODUR 32): oxidised on the inside
Our silver and silver alloys are produced using melting metallurgical processes. These products are well-suited for applications requiring up to 10 amps of current, such as in relays, household appliance switches, and light, main, and auxiliary current switches. These materials are available in various forms, including wires, profiles, and contact tips, to meet a wide range of needs. Profiles and tips are available upon request with a brazing underlayer.
