SAXONIA Technical Materials GmbH based in Hanau is part of the SAXONIA Group with around 1500 employees. Thanks to our world-renowned expertise and decades of experience on the global markets, we are a leading international provider of contact materials.
Our product portfolio includes silver-bearing semi-finished products for switching applications and special metallurgical products for the power engineering sector. We are a partner and supplier for the electrical industry. Our products are used in electrical switching devices, e.g. for domestic installations, automotive engineering and industrial automation.

In addition, our precious metal raw materials mainly come from recycling sources. As “end-of-life” scrap or industrial waste, they are “burden-free” in line with the “cut-off” approach and therefore free of historical greenhouse gas emissions. In this way, we actively support the national and international goals set out in the UN Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
