2. SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA
2.1 When visiting the website
Every time you access content on the website, data is temporarily stored that may allow identification. The following data is collected:

3. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING / LEGAL BASIS
We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other relevant laws.
3.1 Consent (Art. 6 Para. 1a GDPR)

Please note that the revocation only applies to future processing. Processing that took place prior to the revocation remains unaffected.

We process data to provide services, such as recycling, product manufacturing, commercial services, and transport services, in accordance with our contractual obligations or to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request. The purposes of data processing depend on the specific product or service, including pre-contractual activities like offers, information, advice, analyses, etc.
3.3 Due to Legal Requirements (Art. 6 Para. 1c GDPR)
We are subject to various legal obligations (e.g., commercial and tax retention requirements under the Commercial Code and Tax Code). The purposes of processing include creditworthiness checks, identity verification (of the contractual partner, its owner, and the persons acting on their behalf), fraud prevention, money laundering checks, and embargo compliance. Additionally, processing is required to fulfill tax obligations, reporting duties, and risk management within the company and the SAXONIA Group.
3.4 As part of the B Balancing of Interests (Art. 6 Para. 1f GDPR)
Where necessary, we process your data beyond contract fulfillment to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties. Examples include:

- Ensuring house rules
- Prevention and investigation of crimes

If you have a contractual or pre-contractual relationship with one or more companies within our group, your data may be processed by another company within the group to prepare offers, check customer acceptance, process contracts and services, or assess risks.

6. DURATION OF DATA STORAGE

Once the data is no longer required for contractual or legal obligations (e.g., statutory retention periods), it will be deleted. Legal retention requirements are based on, among other things, the Commercial Code (HGB) and the Tax Code (AO).
